The MinoSharp MC-472 is a double-sided sandstone with a rough (240) and a medium side (1000), it also comes with two fixtures that support and helps you keep the right angle when grinding your knives.

The coarser side is usually used for very damaged knives, and the finer side is usually used to grind the edge for a really good sharpness that lasts a long time. Depending on which shape the knife is in before grinding, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get a perfectly ground knife. The grinding stone works for all kinds of knives and brands, in addition to toothed knives.
